CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR)

Lekki Concession Company Ltd as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) has initiated and implemented various support programs and developmental projects to bring the much needed relief to indigenes of some of the local and host communities in Eti-Osa LGA and environs. A few examples of such projects executed since inception are stated below: 

  • Donation of Hilux van and communication equipment to Bar Beach Police station (2007)

  • LCC graded the Bar Beach Police Station access road and the buildings within the station were renovated (2007)

  • LCC donated some prefabricated offices to Maroko Police station in order to support the inadequate new office space provided by LASG (2008)

  • LCC, through Power Holding Corporation of Nigeria, connected the newly relocated Maroko Police Station to the PHCN grid (2008)

  • LCC donated work tools (rain coats and boot, torch lights, communication radios etc) to the officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authourity (LASTMA) to enhance the effectiveness of the LASTMA dedicated team along the toll road (2008)

  • Donation of work tools (rain coats and boots, torch lights, communication radios etc) to the officials of the Man 'O War Officials dedicated team, to ensure that all environmental laws are strictly adhered to on our road (2008).

  • Donation of one Yamaha police bike with accessories to the dedicated team of LASTMA (2008)

  • Donation of two PHCN Relief Sub-stations to Badore, Ajah-Makarious, Sangotedo and Ajah-Ilaje communities in order to help the small scale industries and the general populace within the communities (2009)

  • LCC completed the landscaping of Ikota Primary School; upgraded the football pitch to an excellent standard, built walkways and car parks, donated water storage facility, generator and commissioned educative road safety signs within the school (2010)

  • LCC sponsored 5-aside football matches between primary schools in the Eti-Osa Lekki-Epe communities in order to encourage spirit of good sportsmanship among the pupils (2010)

  • LCC funded the grading and beautification of Maroko and Ilasan Police station (2010)

  • LCC upgraded the Elegushi coronation ground for Oba Saheed Elegushi (2010)

  • LCC donated one flat screen Dell desktop computer to Victoria Island and Ikoyi Security and Environment Trust to strengthen the administrative activities of the organization (2011)

  • LCC upgraded Ilasan Community road and cleared the drainages along the road in order to alleviate flooding problems within the community (2011)

  • LCC funded palliative repairs of Ologolo village road for Oba Tijani Akinloye towards his coronation event (2011)

  • LCC funded the training and re-certification of two hundred commercial bus operators operating along the axis at Lagos State Drivers' institute in order to sharpen their driving skills and also educate them more on the use of highways, roundabout and driving techniques (2011)

  • LCC donated some English dictionaries to a Community Secondary School in Ajah to commemorate their Children's day celebration (2012)

  • LCC organized a one day Safety Enlightenment Campaign for Ikota Primary School pupils (2012)

  • Launched the Safe Crossing assistance to Ikota Primary School and also donated reflective jackets and lollipop road signs to the school and the Community Development Association of Ikota Community (2012)

  • Donated some traffic management equipment to The Nigeria Police, Bar Beach Police Station in order to better improve traffic management in Victoria Island and environs (2014)

  • As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility for 2014 and continuation of our social investment on campaign for safety on our road, LCC trained another batch of 100 commercial bus drivers at the Lagos State Drivers' Institute(2014)

  • LCC donated traffic management and safety kits to Ajah Police Division and Bar Beach Police Division (2014)

  • LCC donated two 100% exempt E-tags to Eti-Osa East Local Government ambulances in order to ensure through puts for the ambulances at the toll plazas during emergencies as part of LCC's support to the health sector in Eti-Osa (2014)

  • LCC organized School Safety Campaigns at Ilasan Primary School and Lagos Model Nursery and Primary, Marwa as part of our safety campaign initiatives (2015)

  • LCC donated traffic management and safety kits to Ajah Police Division and Bar Beach Police Division (2014)

  • LCC donated two 100% exempt E-tags to Eti-Osa East Local Government ambulances in order to ensure through puts for the ambulances at the toll plazas during emergencies as part of LCC's support to the health sector in Eti-Osa (2014)

  • LCC organized School Safety Campaigns at Ilasan Primary School and Lagos Model Nursery and Primary, Marwa as part of our safety campaign initiatives (2015)

  • LCC-Arrive Alive/Agbami Group launched a Safety Club at Ikota Primary School and also organized a safety campaign at the same school (2015)

  • As part of our Community Development Initiative and campaign for safety and security, LCC donated some traffic management equipment to all the Divisional Police Stations along the Lekki-Epe Expressway (2015)

  • LCC donated toiletries and food items to Ikoyi Prison (2015)

  • LCC donated five brand new desktops to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Eti-Osa 111 Local Government Area, ICT Community Development Group as contribution towards their community development project to augment the computer laboratory of Badore Community Senior Secondary School (2016)

  • LCC funded the renovation of police building in Ilasan Police Station (2016)

  • LCC sponsored the maiden edition of the LCC/Eti-Osa Football Championship Competition (2016)

  • LCC sponsored the second edition of the LCC/Eti-Osa Football Championship Competition (2017)

  • LCC donated an operational vehicle (Toyota Hilux) to LASTMA to assist them in traffic management along the Eti - Osa Lekki - Epe expressway (2017)

  • LCC donated safety kits, equipment and electronic gadgets to LASTMA to enhance their performance in traffic management along Eti - Osa Lekki Epe expressway (2017)

  • Flood control: LCC funded the construction of box culvert & clearing of drainage along Berger road Ajah (2017)

  • LCC funded the registration and purchase of 50 GCE forms for the Eti-Osa Indigenes Forum (2019)

  • LCC funded the renovation of Ikota Primary Health Centre and procurement of office and medical equipment (2019)
